Point Reyes National Seashore and Historic Lighthouse
Photo taken during evening on a foggy day. Sunny day would have been better. Its a great place for sight seeing. Climbing down 308 steps to see this light house was an adventure :). As this place is famous for its fog, this lighthouse was used in John Carpenter's horror movie "The Fog" in 1980. When we were in the lighthouse the lighthouse keeper was telling about an interesting story "During the April 18 earthquake, this lighthouse and the Point Reyes area moved 18 feet in less than a minute". Its a funny coincidence that 18 feet shift on 18th of April.
